Hey everyone we're currently making a project and we're gonna be using a 2(12V, 6amps) peltier and 2 fans same as ones that is used for pc ventilation. My concern is how would we be able to plug that into a 220V socket? Also would a 12v 12ah lead acid battery be enough to power all 4 components?

60amp sub panel w/ 10gauge romex to main panel? Enough to power 750 SQFT, 3.5 rooms + bathroom, possibly a washer/dryer, and a refrigerator, + at least 2 window AC units in summer.

Hey all, I recently bought a house and wanted to add an overhead light to a bedroom that didn't have one. There was a switch in the room linked to an outlet to make it hot when the switch was On.
I put a new outlet in place of the switched outlet using the same existing wiring, then I ran a new wire from the switch to my new junction box for my light. Before I hooked up the light, I tied the two neutrals in the switch box together, and put the two blacks on my switch. Without my light in place, I used my voltage tester at my new junction box for the light and found that I had constant power w ..read more

I finally paid more money and bought a 65watt phone charger and a better quality cord about $45-50 total. and now a teal fast charging icon on my s21 comes on and it charges very fast. however change the c to c fast charge cable to a USB to c and its slow. what's the amps to hit the fast charge threshold on Samsung Android s21 s22 etc phones?, I had no idea there wae even a fast charge option.

In order to save money, my husband put together more than one cord to make a 550ft cord. Unfortunately pump is in but not working. It worked in the barrel they tried it out in. Anyway I'm wanting to order one full cord. To avoid anything coming apart. He also mentioned something about the wire could have nicked the wall and needs to be thicker. What do I need?

We have a 3-way switch in our bathroom that controls the overhead light, vanity light, and fan. Above it is an outlet. We have an issue.
Our breaker isnt tripped but half the electricity isnt making it to the rest of the house; breaker controls dining room light, bathroom, an outlet in living room (shared wall with bathroom) and then half our 2nd floor (above bathroom). Only dining room light works, no other lights or outlets on that breaker.
Switch box has two hots, one coming from above and one from below. Outlet has one hot.
Zero idea how to install new switch (assumed it was the swit ..read more

I have a buried metal conduit providing power to my detached garage. I recently discovered that the previous owner ran what I can only possibly identify as SOOW Portable Power Cable (as there's 5 wires, BWGYR and they are copper or copper colored, stranded wires inside a black jacket) from the basement to the garage through this conduit.
I am attempting to fix several issues with the wiring in an attempt to make the garage safer as well as be able to properly use a 120v EVSE (car charger). I am also considering upgrading to 240 for the EV, if I can do so without breaking the bank.
So my assum ..read more
