I have a furnished holiday let [FHL] The place is 300 miles from my home. I have to ensure the place is safe for my own peace of mind let alone my legal obligations.
1. I have encountered a problem with an electrician whom I contracted to provide a EICR. I know the tradesman is NAPIT registered and previous conversations have told me he knows his stuff. He has done minor works very well. I happily follow his advice and so on. He completed the inspection in May 2021 and understandably wanted...

Fitted a selv fan for a customer who has a tiny bathroom but it's not clearly any steam at all. It's well ducked outside and the fan runs fine.
Is there anything I can try to help him?
I understand natural air flow might help from even the bathroom door being slightly open but there must be a better way for circulation ..read more

Hi all
I’ve had my system for just under a year now. 14 x 450w panels, 3.6 kw hybrid inverter and 5.4 kw battery.
The one thing I have noticed is when the battery is supplying power to the house there is always an additional cost to me from the supplier.
Even though this cost is small i estimate it adds up to about £100 a year.
Is this normal?
Cheers

My best guess is that it's for use as...

the cable will be 10 meters under ground in ducting and 5 meters up wall in 40 mm ducting to soffit eaves into loft the rest is outbuilding and connecting in loft
Would it be better to use 16 mm ad a safe option
