So my buddy has a 92 grand Cherokee crawler. Just did all the brakes on it master booster wheel cyl in rear new calipers eliminated the abs system and they work great. But when he flexes it out it looses the pedal and as soon as it unflexes it has brakes again. Has extended lines and nothing seems to be over stretching or anything out of the ordinary. Anyone ever have a problem like this or better yet a solution or where to look next? Sent from my moto g pure using Tapatalk ..read more

97 4runner DD tires?

My Daughter has a nice 97 4runner that needs tires. 99% street driven. We do an occasional sunday cruise through the pines which is just sandy roads. Has 265/70-16 on it now. Thinking about getting new rims and tires. 16" methods and Continental tires or 15" methods and BFG ATs? 16" BFG's are crazy price for a non offroader. The 16" combos all cost more than the 15" combos? Any reason to stick to 16" Anyone recommend a good all around tire ..read more

So I am looking in to doing a coil conversion on a 1991 jeep wrangler YJ and I cant seem to find shit. I am looking for a simple bolt on kit that will take little to no fab work to install. I am not looking to go out and do king of the hammers stuff just want to get rid of the leaf springs to improve the ride. I did find the pro come kit but have herd nothing but ad things about that kit. I don't mind spending the money on a good kit but I would like it to be as much bolt on as possible. Any... Are Chinese LED light bars really that bad?

I know all the circuitry and LEDs themselves come from China. Is it really worth paying a premium for "assembled in America?" I may once in a blue moon drive at night and even then it's probably going to be to illuminate a target I'm shooting at. I have no dreams of racing Baja nor do I need bullet proof lenses. Is it really worth the premium for say something like Rigid? Unbiased opinions and first hand knowledge welcome ..read more

So I'm finally getting around to gathering parts to finish building the rear of my truck and in looking at rear ends with hubs the bolt pattern is either 6x5.5 or 5x5.5. I would need to upgrade the front hubs because 1, they're stock, and two, a different bolt pattern. What are my options for the front as I want to keep 4wd? Speak slowly I'm the guy with the bajakits front and according to most I'm a dummy ..read more

Long story short, I’m running methods on my 95 F-150 4x4 and I’m concerned with the thread engagement on the lug nuts. I’ve had zero luck sourcing longer wheel studs and I’d prefer not to go 5/8” at this time. Anyone out there run into this in the past? Are extended thread lug nuts good to go off-road? Hey guys! So there’s a ranger that was posted a few hours from me that i have been considering but i kinda wanted to get some advice. Currently I’ve been downsizing quite a bit as I’m trying to pay some bills. I’ve been wanting a truck but just don’t wanna fork over the 5-8k for something somewhat decent. A truck recently came up with a blown motor and the owner is only asking 750 bucks. It’s got extended beams, 33,s, glass all around, a bed cage with shocks but has stock leafs. The... G50 race pack

On my ranger I have the g50 race pack with karteks drop down hanger along with 7" shackles . And it rides stiff as hell, I do have a full bedcage with 2 spares and 16" shocks. I believe the bedcage itself weighs over 200 not including the 2 35" tires. Only issue I have adding more weight, is trying to get the truck to stop, and im not aware of any aftermarket brakes for the ranger. I was told from the guy that made my bedcage I had the shackle bolts way to tight and he had to force the axle... G50 race pack ..read more
