Has anyone done this? If yes, where and how did you mount the control box? I am buying a Superwinch SX 10000 to install in a Demello bumper and need to relocate the control box. Looking to purchase an aftermarket front bumper. Expedition One steel and Demello aluminum have caught my eye. Living in the NE you see trucks with cool aftermarket steel bumpers that look like crap due to rust. Aluminum doesn’t rust, is lighter but isn’t quite as tough as Steel. When it comes to metal bumpers, I don't know if I'm picky or what but I've seen about a thousand different ones for the FJ and I don't like about 997 of them. This one by Rhino4x4 is one of the ones I love. Problem is that the guy who posted this picture lives in Canada, bought it in Australia and the bumper is made in Argentina. I currently have an Expedition 1 front bumper and filler plate. I just ordered an RCI front skid plate, but I'm worried about whether my Expedition 1 filler plate will be compatible at all with the RCI skid. RCI only sells a stock bumper filler plate. Does anyone have hands on experience with this combo? These are two videos we shot comparing my 2012 FJ and my friends Land Rover Defender 110 going over the same rutted road on the same day.
