Hey guys, I am coming from a 2023 Tundra SR5 4X4 that had a 3.5 in. lift. I loved going outdoors and off the beaten path, but the truck died on me in the middle of the road and traded it in. I now have a 2023 STX 4X4 and need some advice.... As far as lift... for those of you that went with 6 inches... do you feel that you need/ don't need skid plates under there? Most skid plates from RCI and Talon Garage seem to not fit 4+ in. lift kits. I am trying to decide how high I want to go but don't want to sacrifice undercarriage protection. Also, for rock sliders... I still have my stock side st ..read more

Hello! Lifted 2nd Gen Toyota Sequoia owner who now has a 2021 F-150 XLT with the 5L Coyote. Been on the forums for hours trying to figure out my lift for the 150 and was hoping some of you fine gentleman could help me. My goal is to take my almost new 35x12.5 Falken Wildpeak AT3W's and put them on my stock F150. I hit gnarly Forest Service Road in the Pacific Northwest frequently consisting of a lot of mud and clearance requirements. I also tow a 7k lbs travel trailer a lot. I want to lift the front to fit my 35's (and minimize/eliminate) trimming, while also lifting the rear to reduce, but n ..read more

Just got back from Florida. After staying in Cape Coral for 2.5 weeks we took a side trip to Daytona and St. Augustine to do some beach driving for a couple days. The only sand driving I've done previously was with my 2019 Toyota 4Runner in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. Daytona Beach - hard packed sand where any vehicle can make it. Crowded during the week near the entrances. Keep an eye on the tides as the water comes way up into the driving lane. $20 for the day entrance fee w/ 1 free re-entry for non-residents. You Tube St. Augustine Beach - 4x4 Only $10 a day entrance fee ..read more

Hello everyone. My girlfriend and I just picked up a 2013 FX4 SuperCrew with the 6.2 (20" rims). It needs new tires and thought I would get some thoughts as to which direction to go. We live in Michigan and plan to trailer her modified CJ5 to the sand dunes in SIlver Lake this summer. We do not plan on ripping through the sand dunes with this truck but would like a tire that is going to do well with the sand if when we want to travel around. We will also be pulling a travel trailer this summer as well. Ideally, we want an all terrain tire that will work decent with the sand but not be singing ..read more

Hello I have a 2022 F150 and I am considering rock sliders. It seems the majority of kits are now bolt on to the frame. I think welded on would be best, although I hear that it voids the warranty. Does anyone have any experience with bolt on rock sliders and how they have held up? Thanks ..read more

Looking for a UTV windshield

Howdy! New UTV owner here. Trying to decide which style of windshield for utv to purchase. How are the half windshields in cold weather? Do the flip down styles direct 'too much' air into the cab?(like if you didn't have a windshield at all) Any reason to have a back window if I don't have doors?(thinking about installing doors by this winter) And are the hard-coat poly windshields really much better? Decisions, decisions...Would really appreciate opinions on this. THANKS ..read more

Rockclimbing F150

Who’s a fan of rockcliming their f150? Curious to your set ups all around from suspension/wheel choice to your exhaust set up to prevent scraping at tough angles. This was in San Antonio Tx off Culebra Rd I recently hit up a trail mainly for quads/bikes, so many side pin stripes from the trip and I had to do some rock climbing and some crawling over some tough angles but the 2013 Ecoboost with 3:73 gears did well. Kinda over the want of a raptor as it would have been tight maneuvering a truck through the trail and being able to mod a normal 150 and be comparable to a raptor. Thanks in adv ..read more

Hey everyone, I have a 2021 F150 Lariat Sport 4WD and I am looking to install a 2” Level Kit (ReadyLift) and install 295/65R20 All-Terrain tires (TOYO AT3). I was wondering if any has had any experience with a similar install. I’m worried there might be some rubbing. My installer was saying there maybe some rubbing with the crash bars. I have asked around and some people are saying there is no issue with rubbing and some people say there is. Ideally, I would not want to do any cutting or trimming and would like to keep the crash bars installed. Thought I would post in this forum to see if any ..read more
