I have an intermittent issue with my 2017 Ateca where all the controls mounted on the steering wheel and steering column occasionally fail. I.e the indicators won’t work, the wipers won’t work etc. etc. The problem seemed to go away when we stopped readjusting the steering wheel each time a different driver used the car. I have had my 2023 Ateca SE Technology 1.5TSI auto for about a month. I’ve just noticed that my base map version is out of date by at least one update. I was told the maps automatically update themselve. I have a current subscription to SEAT Connect. Is this correct? Or do I have to do a manual update via USB. Thanks ..read more

Hello, I own a late 2020 facelift Ateca 1.0 SE Technology and there's awful low end noise (especially noticeable at low..ish speed) which feels like you're putting your head inside a bass bin at a heavy metal gig! Just a quick ask if anyone remembers while they're out an about. Can anyone with a diesel tell me whether their oil temp sticks to 90°C once it warm on 30mins+ drive or does it increase and fluctuate? I had my coolant temp jump briefly to 130°C on 20min-ish drive recently, but it came back down fairly quickly and hasn't done it since and it does not vary from 90°C no matter the distance. Hi all. I have the abovementioned car and whilst out the car would not start suddenly with an EPC warning. Called breakdown service who came out and said the fuel line from high pressure fuel pump had cracked. Managed to get the car towed home.
