Arona 2021 reg 1.0DSG FR - Auto stop start

Hi collected Saturday and been playing with settings as you do! I don't like the stop start as it really cranks the engine ( we had a courtesy car that was part hybrid and restart was instant) so must cause wear and tear on the starter mechanical system. I know there is the manual off button but it resets next you come back to start the car and isn't listed in the "MODES" sections other than "engine" which i assume to be engine map rather than stop start. The manual does say if you press... Arona 2021 reg 1.0DSG FR - Auto stop start ..read more

Facelift Infotainment - I was on borrowed time!

It finally happened. The dreaded infotainment reboot cycle on my 2023 car has started! But I got to 16 months old before it did. But as usual, its not the problem, but the solution and how its dealt with. I emailed my dealer and within 10 minutes I was booked in on Monday for a "while you wait" fix. I am hoping it will sort it, but can't see any reason why it shouldn't. In fairness that's really good service from SEAT and in that respect I couldn't be happier. I will report back with any... Hi all, I was hoping someone can help. i've got a seat arona 115 FR (dsg gearbox) which i bought from cinch 2 months ago. I have problems from the moment i bought it. I have just (last week) bought a used 2021 Arona 1.0 Xcellence DSG and for the most part really enjoying driving it. However the one thing that I am struggling with is the adaptive cruise control. In the driver assist section of the cluster display there is a message saying ‘ACC deactivated’ and this remains the case regardless of what I do to the control lever. I have used cruise control on several other vehicles before and also read the manual several times to try and work out how to... ACC deactivated message ..read more

Hi, just wanted to check if there are any problems changing the discs and pads on my wife's ARONA XL 115. my last car needed the caliper bracket removing to get the disc off and I couldn't shift the bolts, had a VW dealer do it but they snapped one bolt and had a bother removing that, just as well they were doing it as a 'punishment' for skimping my big service which I happened to check and pulled them up on it. Dave ..read more

Navigation automatically shows between speedometer and rev counter on dash
Arona Forums

Hi all, Our 70 plate Arona used to have the speed set as a default option when starting the car. Recently the navigation pops up straight away on the dash and I cant figure out how to set the speed back as a default option. I've checked through the manual and I'm unable to see any options to set this back as default. It's not much of a problem as I can still shuffle through the options using the steering wheel controls however it'd be nice to know how it's been set to automatically show...
