Which parks do people think do the best job with theming and immersion? The obvious contenders are Disney and Universal but from what i've seen (as i haven't visited), Phantasialand, Europa and Efteling are right up there too. They also benefit from unique IP's so in a way that gives them a different level of freedom and creativity. Anywhere else? I entered the park at around 11:30 am, and I headed straight to Nemesis. The entrance to Forbidden Valley is brilliant, although it does look similar to X-Sector's entrance. The armoured vehicle has been moved near the entrance. I preferred it when it was painted in a khaki colour, but the black paint job doesn't look bad. Hi all I hope this is in the correct section. I’ve been to Alton towers many times and always been quite anxious about things. For example only just got on a plane last year and I’m 37. Today we were at Alton towers and I got really anxious over nemesis, galactica, Rita, smiler, oblivion so I didn’t go on them. As the title says, what does everyone here think of lore and stories given to rides? Do you think they add to the experience or not? Personally, it depends on the type of attraction and if the theming for the ride was the main priority ove rthe actual story. I think stories work great on walk through attractions and Madhouses, but roller coasters? Not as well and pretty unnecessary most of the time.
