So after I adjusted my valves, I was putting everything back together and the top cam chain tensioner bolt wasn't getting tight (10 ft-lbs) (and no, it wasn't cross threaded), so I pulled it out to see if the threads on the bolt were damaged...nope...the threads in the block are all to pieces. There were pieces of the threads that came out with the bolt when I pulled it out. I am currently riding a Z750 '06 and am looking to switch to sports bike soon. The main reason is that sports bike is what got me into this game in the first place, i love how they look.
