Travel Back Pack

I'm looking to get a new rucksack/backpack that will be used primarily for travel (a work trip night away, and weekends away etc) and the gym. I've been looking at a roll top model from Stubble and Co https://www.stubbleandco.com/product...40445040165050 which seems to be aeroplane friendly, although probably not when fully packed. I would also look to use this for the gym and it's why I'm looking to a roll top. Has anyone had a similar situation and what did you eventually go for? Any experinces of Stubble and Co - they seem expensive but if they're quality happy to spend. Thanks in advance ..read more

Le Mans, McQueen, Porsche and Heuer (my work)

I don't think I've ever shared my work here before, but it usually doesn't have much of a horological theme. I thought some of you might enjoy it. I was raising some funds last year to help out a local business so offered a few private commissions and a collector/friend in Mexico wanted one based on the movie Le Mans, as he knows I am a big fan of Porsches and he has a Monaco. Painted in acrylic paints on paper board, as most of my work is. Thematically quite different from my usual superheroes, but I enjoyed it enough that I'd like to do more ..read more

Simple G shock question

Looking to pick the kinds of the G-shock lovers. Part of my strap came away, and because I’m hopeless have no idea how to fix it. Initially thought there was maybe a spring bar, but on don’t see where this would be mounted? Could glue have failed? Any advice would be most appreciated, it may be it’s a new strap that’s required. Any advice much appreciated Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk ..read more

CGT allowance when income below personal allowance
TZ-UK Forums

Calling on the accountants here please. :) For whatever reason I cannot seem to find a simple definitive answer via Google but if personal income (2024/25 tax period) is say just £6k and a capital gain (sale of shares) is made of £6k (with CGT limit now £3k) does the CG get treated as part of the £12,570 personal allowance so no tax is due? Similarly, if figures are say income £10k and CG £10k then CG would be due at 10% on £7430 = £743? Or is CG a totally separate tax bracket due on any CG over £3k and payable at 10% (lower tax rate person) regardless of how little one may earn ..read more
