f you love the fact that companies such as McDonald’s, Taco Bell, and Walmart can operate 24/7, this is due to third shift workers. Third shift workers are the people who help keep the world you know running at night. Restocking shelves, sweeping floors, EMT’s responding to medical emergencies, fire fighters, and cargo ship managers all help keep the economy running. They do a lot of this nocturnally, at a time when most people would be sleeping.
