Doing an MR to and from YLW and arrive around 10 AM and leave at 5 PM, so giving about 10 mins to clear security when departing, I have some time to kill. Any quick, easy trails near YLW? I see Paul's Tomb, which, according to Google Maps is a 3 hours' walk from YLW, so there and back is 6 hours. I'll have a light backpack, and am reasonably fit. I have a 10am flight from Ottawa to Toronto and then a 12:30 flight from Toronto to Narita booked for tomorrow, 2024-04-05. Question: what time do I need to be at the airport in Ottawa? Yesterday I flew MIA-ATL-YYC-YCD. Was I supposed to pick up luggage and recheck it at YYC? My luggage didn't show up at YCD, and I filed a missing luggage form. Now I'm reading online that I possibly should have picked up and rechecked my luggage at YYC when going through customs. I bought my tickets from Delta, but only flew Delta the first leg, the rest was Westjet. Arriving in YVR at 11:48 on AC 107 from Toronto YYZ and leaving at 17:20 to Honolulu on AC 519. I beleive we have to do US Immigration. Can we stay airside? How long will take to clear security/imigration and what's there to do for the rest of the time. Estimating about 4.5 hours with nothing planned to do yet. Is the Plaza Lounge worth it (price vs what it offers)? I don't think I can get MLL access or day passes unless someone is willing to give away two. They may not even be transmisible. I'm looking ahead to next spring break and considering a ~4 day trip to Quebec with my then-to-be 12 yo. Any suggestions on things to do/where to eat?
