What is the name of your state? Massachusetts I share an apartment, rented out by the room, in an old triple-decker. The landlords bought it in August and began renting it out in September. I wish they'd make repairs to meet minimum habitability standards without prodding from tenants, but they don't. I've made a request/demand about meeting a few minimum standards so far. They have made the repairs quickly. They haven't needed to spend too much on supplies and haven't needed to hire... Exterior stairwell habitability: Balusters and a very high top riser ..read more

Violating all of my civil rights, every good job I get they coerce my employer into firing me ( i have former boss's who have said they will testify to this) they harrass me, try to bait me into starting fights which I have a good head on my shoulders so those attempts are nothing more than an annoyance but you never know when one of the freaks they use might go too far and turn it into a dangerous situation. before i go further please allow me to say none of this is speculation. In 2023, I did several investment rollovers: Investment Company A - $15k Investment Company B - $20k Both investments were transferred to an existing 401k with Investment Company C. Investment Company A sent a 1099-R with Box 2a amount $0.00 Investment Company B sent a 1099-R with Box 2a amount $20k because they said Investment Company C did not confirm receipt of the rollover. I asked Investment Company C how to handle Investment Company B's taxable amount reporting. They said provide... Investment Rollovers ..read more

Administrator mailing address - PO Box vs personal address

Hi Can I as the administrator of the deceased’s estate (Essex County NJ) use a PO Box for the administrator address and not my personal address? I would use this on the EIN and estate bank account when opened to be consistent. I’ve been an administrator once before and as it was the first time I was just thrown into it without knowing what my options were. It was for my moms estate. Jurisdictions differ and I didn’t know if this in particular would be a standard across all surrogacy... administrator mailing address - PO Box vs personal address ..read more

What is the name of your state? IL I know there is a law protecting employees right to discuss work conditions. There have been quite a few cases that have gone to the Supreme Court that basically entailed an employee complaining about a work condition and their employer fired them for that. I specifically remember one where an employee had posted on Facebook saying that they didn't feel safe leaving work. They were disciplined. They took it to court and won. What is that law? I can...
