Due to the strikes, the Emmys are only just now (tonight) being handed out despite the nominees having been announced back in April! Several of the nominees have long since departed their shows. In THE HELP (2011), Mrs. Walters tells Skeeter to "Shhh!" as she walks in the door, "I'm watching my story..." all as an old episode of THE GUIDING LIGHT comes on the little portable TV in the background.
