Details on the changes have been light until a recent media presentation which shed some light on the new inclusions that set F1 24’s career mode, specifically driver career, apart from previous entries.
This year the developers have put greater attention on the challenges F1 drivers face. Such as the battle with their team-mate and how a team’s ..read more

The next-generation Formula 1 car for 2026 is getting closer to being finalised and there is a new overtaking aid from the engine that will be part of it.
There is a June 2024 deadline to get a first draft of the chassis technical regulations approved and published, to go along with the engine rules that have existed for a couple of years now.
F1 will continue with V6 turbo-hybrid engines in 2026 but that undersells the size of the technical challenge faced by the six registered manufacturers: Red Bull Powertrains, Mercedes, Ferrari, Honda, Renault and Audi.

Formula 1's points system could change if approval is granted to a new system that would award points to the top 12 finishes in a grand prix.
The Race understands the new system will remain the same for the top seven finishers (25-18-15-12-10-8-6) but distribute 5-4-3-2-1 point/s for eighth through 12th places.
Reaction from teams and drivers has been split, with the likes of Alpine driver Pierre Gasly saying "if you're not in the top 10 you've just to go work harder", while Haas boss Ayao Komatsu called the proposed new system "clearer for the fans and then for the motivation of everybody wo ..read more

We know that's the case thanks to revelations made in the lead up to the Chinese Grand Prix, as Red Bull motorsport advisor Helmut Marko acknowledged that the team is talking to Carlos Sainz - and that reserve driver and star 2023 F1 stand-in Liam Lawson has the promise of a drive for next year.
Throw in Verstappen's incumbent team-mate Sergio ..read more

Lewis Hamilton’s admission that he mistakenly drove extreme set-up changes at the Chinese Grand Prix is part of Mercedes' Formula 1 team admitting it needs to focus on the basics.
Whether at the team’s behest or in the case of Hamilton a driver’s own direction, there have been many instances in the last two-and-a-bit years of Hamilton or sometimes George Russell putting volatile performance swings down to variants of ‘set-up experiments’.
It has tended to be Hamilton. For a while that was put down to him helping the team explore its troubled cars’ set-up windows in an attempt to unlock someth ..read more
