Hope this topic is allowed. I know a lot of us are wary of Cameron discs but yesterday I was able to get tickets to a 40th anniversary screening of The Terminator which used the new restoration. For whatever it’s worth, maybe my impressions and those of any others who managed to see it can help assuage some fears. Very simply, I thought it looked good. Great detail, perhaps less blue shifted than the current Blu-ray, and the atmos mix sounded dynamic with great punch.
