I bought this last August and the 2 Blu Ray audio discs seemed to have issues being recognised by my player(Panasonic DMP - BDT260EB ), one would show the universal logo and nothing else , the other would show a black screen. So I waited till I could afford an upgrade player wise. I have since bought a Panasonic DP - UB 820EBK in the last two weeks and it seems to say there is a compatibly issue in reading the discs, just asking if anyone knows if there is a problem with these Blu Ray... Hi everyone I'm trying to burn an MP4 file that includes pre-existing closed subtitles to a playable DVD-R, and to include those subtitles. I'm using Windows 10, with no burning capability in Windows Media Player, and I have no commercial burning software. I thought this would be a simple task, but it seems fraught with complexity! I occasionally rip HD DVDs using AnyDVD HD and MakeMKV. Without AnyDVD, MakeMKV usually fails to rip the discs. In the worst case I have to make a HD DVD disc into an ISO file using the builtin feature of AnyDVD, and then rip from the ISO using MakeMKV. I used AnyDVD on trial, but it has expired now and will not work - even after installing a new copy. I do not rip very often and cannot justify the ridiculous price of AnyDVD. The 1971 British theatrical cut of Ken Russell's film 'The Devils' is getting a 2 disc DVD release by the BFI in March 2012. Unfortunately it seems that Warner Bros. still won't allow the 2004 restoration featuring the 'rape of Christ' scene, but regardless this is news that will be welcomed by many, myself included ..read more
