For those of you that have upgraded the queen mattress to a full length Queen bed, did you extend the support box underneath as well?
Was thinking to only add 2 support “triangles” at the foot of the bed to support the extra length… (short leg of triangle against the bottom of the bed board, and other short leg against the bed support box)
I don’t want the foot of the bed to be spongy when sat upon.
What thickness mattress did you use?
Thanks for any insight!

Our van's layout is the vehicle we were looking for when cycling through the RV types (we started with class C went to 5th wheel then to travel trailer over 15 years). What we are not so thrilled about is all the issues with our Travato.
Two nights ago, went to bed while camping with fully functional water system. Woke up next morning -- no water pump activation when tap is opened (tank check said 2/3 full). Tried all controls (over door & bathroom) no joy (over door panel said "off" and switch in bath would not light). Checked fuse - good. Opened rear door and tried pump switch on water ..read more

Hello! We are driving from Ventura CA to Murietta GA along Highway 40 and will have to tow our Ford Fiesta behind our 1997 Winnebago Adventurer and have never towed a vehicle before. Can't find a tow bar rental anywhere and a flat bed tow seems too difficult. Any help would be greatly appreciated ..read more

I need to get new tires for our 2020 27N Adventurer as the original ones are getting worn out. But, the OEM tires were terrible, very stiff and felt every little bump. So I am after a tire that is more forgiving without giving up safety or steering.
Please let me know if you have changed out tires to something more comfortable such as Michelin Radials or something less expensive but still gives a more gentle ride. I did upgrade the shocks and added a stabilizer bar, etc so wind nor big trucks passing do not cause much of a problem ..read more

We recently had a 1.5" Van Compass lift kit installed with Bilstein struts and upgraded rear shocks.
Vehicle handles very well except now we have a "clunking" sound when steering over anything that causes front suspension to move. The installer has checked all nuts, bolts, etc. Nothing was loose or shows any wear when they actually took the entire front suspension apart after 800+ miles of driving. No rocks fell out of the tight clearances around strut springs and fender.
The "clunking" noise can really only be heard at slow speeds (road noise drowns it out). At highway speeds the vehicle do ..read more

Our main door has been really hard to open and close for about 6 months now. The strut is working fine. The top two hinge screws into the frame are totally stripped (from what I have no idea, maybe over tightening in factory?).
I had a mobile RV tech take a look, but even with 35 years of experience, he was completely unfamiliar with these doors. He recommended contacting Winnebago and asking about a recall.
Has anyone seen any recalls related to these doors?
This became a problem about 6 months after our 1 year warranty ended.
Have you seen anything like this? Have an idea of the repair c ..read more
