We are reducing the price of our nearly new 2020 21NE from 39,000 to 36,000 USD. This is a super price for someone in the market for this RV as it is essentially new and the price is greatly reduced from what you would pay for a new one in the factory. Don't believe, just take a look at the starting price of a new 21NE ($42,000++). Ours is definitely in as-new condition and still has not even depleted the propane provided by the factory in March of 2021. It was very lightly used and is waiting for a new owner. Our loss is your gain. Pictures posted in two earlier posts. It is located in Mer ..read more

Table base

Is there a less expensive alternative to the Springfield table base? I’ve seen some online but the mounting plates don’t look as wide as the Springfield and I’m concerned that the 1/2” screws won’t be enough to hold it in place without wobbling ..read more

A couple observations

We are at the Northern Oregon Gathering, NOG. It’s raining, but still good to be out camping. #1 The heat strip on the air conditioner. It works pretty good at drying off your rain coat. It is the first time we’ve used it, and like is the most common complaint, it is noisy. But it pushes a lot of air around and my rain coat drys really fast. I like that. #2 The bench seat at the dinette table is only 48” wide if you are reading and start to fall asleep, it’s way to small to take a nap at ..read more

Is this doable assuming the trailer batteries are kept back charged from the tow vehicle? Or is the load too much and you still end up with dead trailer batteries when you get to your destination ..read more

Recommendation on where buy wire to add extra battery

Any recommendations on where to get wiring for adding a second LI battery? I got this diagram from Escape. It is good to see what they wired up and it has links to the components they installed. I currently do not have two batteries but plan to add a second LI battery. I have a Victron Lynx Power In and just need the wires and cable end lugs. Does anyone have a recommendation on wire to use or where to buy? We are looking for a pre-loved 5.0 preferably somewhere in BC. We live on Vancouver Island, but would be willing to travel to view a well looked after unit (not to the US though unfortunately). Budget around $50,000 CAD Would be interested in any pointers to look out for too, we've only just found out about Escape Trailers, had the usual stick/alloy built campers previously. Thank you, Paul ..read more

Truck/Trailer Aero

Has anyone tried or done the research on truck/trailer aero devices to improve towing MPG? Pics are for reference only. I have a buddy that pulls an enclosed car hauler, < 5,000 lbs total with ‘20 Suburban. Went from 7.5 to 11 mpg. We’re towing a 21C with a F250 diesel. Holding a steady 65 mph/1700 rpm, 9.2 mpg. https://www.icondirect.com/aeroshield-wind-deflector ..read more
