I was doing maintenance on the 2012 Kubota RTV 900xt and decided I'd better check under the floor mat and found much rust. I also found a triangular center panel held in place by 3 Phillips head bolts. I thought for sure these bolts would be rusted to the bolt holes and break off but no they came right out. Has anyone had to replace the Alt cable to the bat. on a 2538 hst open station. My bat. gets low so no start. I checked the batt and it takes and holds the charge, and the alt is putting out as it should so that leaves the cable. It seems like a difficult change, but maybe just me. New to me rtv 900. When I got it it would barely move under full throttle. Figured it wes the wear plates on the hst motors. Replaced them, now I get no movement at all. Even tried switching another complete valve plate. Hst motors were all in good shape. Changed the trans filters as well. I'm a bit stumped. Any suggestions ..read more

Hi, I found a box of relays just above a box of fuses, but there's no cover on my relay box so I don't know what is what. My radiator fan isn't turning on, leading to boiling water out of the radiator overflow bottle. I took the fan out and thoroughly cleaned the radiator, and I tested the fan with a battery, and it ran great. Clearly, power isn't getting to the fan when it needs to. I have a Kubota RTV900 and i have a problem with the gear selector, i loaned the buggy to a mate and while he had it, it jammed in gear in reverse and could not disengage it, i managed to disconnect the cable on the transmission and get it home and found that the control cable was jammed, i purchased the new cable from kubota and set it up as per the old cable, i now have an issue where medium speed is now reverse and can get only low speed as a forward gear, its really a strange situation...
