New to any type of forum so apologies if not done correctly. 99 TS 110 2wd cab 16x16 transmission. Calibrating did not fix. High or low forward or reverse only have 2,4,6,8. As soon as it hits an even gear have to turn off and restart to get back to moving. Is it just relay? Need to split to fix ..read more

Hello. Does anyone on here own a T4 series tractor? I just picked one up and this one has the mechanical lift. Holy cow the position control lever and draft control lever seem ridiculously hard to push down or lift up. Is this normal on these tractors or is there something I need to be looking into? Neighbor has a Massey 265 that loses power steering oil. I'm not a Massey guy. The tractor loses power steering oil fairly rapidly, less than a day of running and the reservoir is empty. I haven't run it yet but the tractor doesn't show any leaks or have fluid under it when parked. My quick look makes me think the power steering pump is leaking into the engine oil. Is there any other place to loose oil and not see it? I'll have to run it and make sure it's not spraying out somewhere... Massey 265 steering ..read more

Hey all I’ll Try to make this understandable. I have an older Massey 180 have a reservoir looking tank can’t find the name of it but assume it’s what changes direction flow for left right under steering column. Has lines that go to the pump at the engine and a steering piston? At the front of the tractor. Issue I have is steering wheel just spins and spins and spins and most of the time nothing happens. Trying to find the best tractor for loading/unloading bales for my hay operation. I’m looking to spend a little more on my other tractors for my operation and want to find something affordable for loading hay. I have a Hayliner self unloading trailer that’s going to work great with just about any tractor I decide on just because of the low profile. My concern is hay customers coming in with taller semi trailers being able to reach once I start a upper row, just because of the affordability... I own a JD 7800 tractor with 4500 hrs on it and have had nothing but trouble with it. It's always in the shop! I can start it but the dash lights won't light up and the tractor will not move when I put it in gear. The hydraulics work but the PTO does not. I know it's an electrical problem because when the dash lights up the tractor works. It has a power shift transmission which is nice when I pull my Krone baler. Looking at a Massey Ferguson 2675 with around 2600 hrs and 565 koyker loader that is going auction, it has the 8 speed and not the 24 speed powershift transmission. I've read forums saying stay away from the 24 speed but with it having the 8 speed are there any concerns or common issues that go along with it? What are the goods and bads?
