I do some side gardening for a client and he has this huge, very overgrown rose and wants to cut it back, which has not happened in many years. It does bloom some but mostly on the very long legs. What is a good fertilizer for newly planted roses? I read that roses thrive with a fertilizer of an 8-20-40- formula. I am unable to locate this fertilizer ratio. Is anyone aware of such a product?
