About 15 years ago I planted four Knock Out Roses, two yellow and two red. I planted one of each color right next to each other in the corners or our yard hoping the branches would intermingle. We moved into a new house last year, and we inherited a rose bush that seems in dire shape (see attached). It's super thin with few leaves. Last fall, it bloomed a couple times, but it seems very anemic. I'd like to shorten it because of how tall it's getting, but I'm afraid if I cut one of those 3 main stems, it won't sprout back. Hi All! We have a rose called Oso Easy Double Red that I pruned in spring. This summer, it grew like mad and got too large. I'd like to prune it back to a more rounded shape, and about 3 feet shorter and less diameter. (It got to be about 6 feet tall this summer.) I've read dozens of sources about pruning in fall.
