I've put a few of these bows together but this might be the best yet. it's an old Hoyt Gamegetter riser with medium 46# PSE Pro Elite limbs. I typically only shoot longs but these limbs on the 21" riser make a nice 64" bow with an 8" brace. The relaxed limb pad angles keep the weight close to what these limbs are rated on a 25" but I have not weighed it to see exactly what they're pulling here. Just had it out in the rain shooting a few before dark ..read more

I have been off and on hunting with traditional equipment for 3 years now. I had 3 Misses 3 years ago. This past year I shot almost everyday from April to October and was shooting very well, from treestand and all. But still get major anxiety when hunting that I’m going to make a poor shot and wound a deer. So in my mind I feel like taking my compound is more ethical. But I REALLY want to take a deer with my longbow. Has anyone else dealt with this same thing? I have taken all variables out... The struggle stick ..read more

I found myself getting into work early so I could leave to go hunt only to go home take a shower and veg out with the wife and the dog. I have been... My First Traditional Harvest ..read more
