I bought my kid an Echo Dot for her room and got her voice ID set up, but now when she does voice search on the fire tv it doesn’t let her because she’s a kid, how can I fix that so that she can still use the fire tv normally

Right now in my alexa app I have the show and it is paired through Bluetooth to the show - Device to Device! The show does not show up in my app. I just want to listen to music on both simultaneously

Hi all,
Would it be possible to have Google Assistant control Alexa smart lighting groups?
I don't have an Alexa (yet) in my office. Could I set up a way to say "Hey Google, turn the office on" and have the Office group in Alexa turn on?

Is it possible to create a routine where I can say “we are going on vacation” and Alexa will turn lights on an off around the house at scheduled times.
If I create a routine for saying we are leaving, then I can schedule a time for actions, or I can’t find it (most likely).
Or do I create a bunch of scheduled routines and then use the vacation routine to call them?

Tried last night but couldn't get them to appear on the Bluetooth list. I know when I hooked them up to my iPhone I had to download the Alexa app so maybe they won't work with my Apple TV. Just curious if I am missing a step to make them work.

I've seen a number of sites and advise pages show a commute widget for the Echo Show which is designed to display your commmute times, and would like to add this to my widget screen.
Unfortunately I am unable to find it in the list of available widgets, and was just wondering if its due to the widget not being available in the UK, or if its been removed completely from everywhere?

Amazon's device division (including Echo) lost over $25 billion between 2017-2021. That is insane! I read a paid version of Alexa with generative AI features may be launched to offset these losses. It was reported that Amazon was surpised to find out that many users use Alexa minimally, using devices for clocks instead of full features. Does anyone else think Alexa will become full subscription service? Will you keep your devices?

just moved this weekend and had my echo dot unplugged for about three days. plugged it in last night and it won’t stop spinning blue. none of the reset things i’ve tried (unplugging and waiting, holding down the action button, trying the microphone off and volume down buttons, deregistering through the app) are working. i left it spinning while i went to work figuring it would finish at some point and 12 hours later it’s still spinning. what do i do to get this thing to work?

Is there a way to make it so one of my Echo devices can not control other devices? Long story short, my son loves to annoy his little sister and everyone else by turning her music off or changing it or making other devices play fart sounds, etc. To keep the peace, it would be nice if I could just make it so he is unable to control the devices in other rooms. He has an Echo in his own room and will tell it to play music everywhere or turn off all sounds or whatever. For my own sanity, how can I stop this?
