Is it snowing outside? If you’re currently dealing with flakes, you’re not alone. From a medical perspective, dandruff is a relatively harmless — and all too common — condition that causes the skin on the scalp to itch and flake. Dandruff can have several causes, including oily or irritated skin, dry skin, fungal buildup, and other skin conditions (like psoriasis or eczema—these will necessitate a trip to the dermatologist). With Omega having served as the official timekeeper of the Olympic Games since 1932, the bond between the world’s foremost athletic competition and the Swiss manufacture runs deep. For the better half of its tenure as official timekeeper, Omega has released special edition timepieces to mark the occasion, resulting in wild and wacky sleeper hits like the 1976 Seamaster Chrono-Quartz Montreal Olympics Albatross which features both an analog and digital display and the classic 2007 Omega Limited Edition Pocket Watch which commemorates the original stopwatches used to time the events of the 1932 ..read more

While we’d like to think we’re relatively on top of all the coolest car races, one seems to have slipped our notice. The Tour Auto in France is inspired by the Tour de France Automobile, which was created by the Automobile Club de France in 1899. In its most recent incarnation, the Tour Auto has been operating since 1992 and goes for five days, with the race open to historic vehicles that participated in the original event as run between 1951 and 1973, with a few exceptions for, well, exceptional cars.
The Tour Auto travels from Paris to Biarritz across some of the most scenic routes in Franc ..read more

In recent years, IWC has become inextricably linked to its tool watches, whether it’s the plethora of pilot’s watches on offer or the recently revived Ingenieur. This year, the Schaffhausen-based manufacture is showcasing its duality of character, placing its Portugieser collection front and centre. Paying homage to the passing of time, IWC quite literally proves the classics are (almost) timeless, with the Portugieser Eternal Calendar featuring a moonphase that only requires adjustment once every 45 million years. Meanwhile, classic Portugieser Automatic models get sleek new updates, while a ..read more

Despite its choke hold over the watch world—and the luxury market at large—for many, the conversation around Patek Philippe begins and ends at the Nautilus. However, it would be remiss to overlook the Swiss manufacture’s high horology pieces. For Watches & Wonders 2024, Patek Philippe is primarily iterating on its storied rather than creating; bringing back a collector’s favourite and updating key references ..read more

Jaeger-LeCoultre has long dedicated itself to the mastery of precision, with the manufacture spending the better part of the past two centuries in pursuit of unparalleled accuracy. While the manufacture is perhaps best known for its iconic Reverso—which it served up several iterations of last year—this year sees Jaeger-LeCoultre hone in on this core principle, debuting three new Duomètre references at Watches & Wonders 2024.
Introduced in 2007, the patented Duomètre concept was developed to address the fundamental issue with any complex mechanical watches; namely, that any compli ..read more
