I would like to reset or reinstall my Lenovo Legion 7i Pro for a fresh start but I don’t want to lose the default Lenovo apps. Is there a way? Or is there no way and I just have to reinstall the default Lenovo apps one by one when I am done? submitted by /u/goal_dante_or_vergil [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

I have a Lenovo Legion 5 pro 16ach6h having r7 5800h and a rtx 3060(130 W). I have been noticing that recently my gpu gets power capped at 30W while doing anything and it happens randomly. I have provided screenshots from HWinfo and cmd showing its capped at 30W. I have made sure its plugged in at a proper power outlet and the temperatures don't go high (50°C if the 30w cap starts else max 80°C) Below are the fixes I have tried: Clean installing GPU drivers Rolling back to old drivers Resetting bios (I had my motherboard replaced recently under warranty due to its failure, i don't know if t ..read more

Pleasant with useful ;) However, I can not find the right app for this. On several I tried and failed. Please help. I know that not such problems you know how to get around ;D Thanks in advance for any advice! submitted by /u/LaSansonnet [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

For the past year I have been having issues regarding power and battery. The first time my laptop would turn off randomly at any percentage and would lose it's charge. It was not sleeping, it was a complete shutdown. All apps closed. I got it replaced and found out the old one has swollen, so that was understandable. Six months later I got the same issue again, since it was under warranty I got it replaced again. The battery wasn't swollen this time. Again, fast forward six months and the current issue now is that the charging indicator will rapidly blink orange randomly and shut down a few m ..read more

I tried F2 and F3 to decrease or increase the volume but nothing happens. I tried using F5 and F6 to control the brightness and that doesn't work. I tried the FnLock key but nothing. Is there a setting in Legion Vantage or something else that I need to be able to use those keys? This is a brand new laptop I just got, btw. submitted by /u/boldnbeautiful2 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more

Lenovo Legion 5 - Possible cause of damage and cost of repair

My laptop suddenly wouldn't charge but other aspects work perfectly fine. When I took it to Lenovo, they said the motherboard has corroded. I haven't spilled a drink in my laptop. What could have possible caused this to happen? Also they said that the motherboard should be replaced. How much does it usually cost? submitted by /u/Someonesomewhere1815 [visit reddit] [comments ..read more
