I have this huge General International drill press , and of all things the switch to turn the drill on and off is stuck in the on position.
i thought maybe buy a foot switch ,but then the light wouldn’t come on for set up .
I googled this number and got nothing . Any idea how to source a switch . I guess maybe I should reach out to general international if they still exist ..read more

Hi All.....
I have an older Makita 18volt drill the older white & black one Model DBF452 I'm looking for a replacement keyless chuck for it, I want an upgrade from the Jacobs series 500 keyless chuck 1/2 inch.
I'm looking at a Rohm brand, but it seems confusing looking at their website to find what would be compatible. Looking for any advise on a replacement keyless chuck that would be compatible. At the same time...............

Hi, guys.
Long time retired from the forum but doing small projects.
My daughter asked me for a high feeder for Draco, her big dog. I found some data to estimate the highness of a 27-inch tall dog.
For Apollo, the smaller dog, it was difficult to take its measurements. I made a second feeder hoping that Apollo would be as higher or taller than Draco.
Some pictures are attached

Guys I have a General International Table Saw and I always use a piece of wood to hold the blade and the included wrench to turn the nut .
I was removing the blade today to get sharpened and payed more attention to the arbor , as it has holes on either side to fit a tool , but I don’t see anything like that online.
It’s interesting as I swear I remember seeing a tool in my shop years ago that was like handle with a half moon and a notch on the end , and I had no idea what it was for at time...

I am building a 38" X 38" x 4.5" cabinet to hold my father-in-law's Marine Corp memorabilia. I made 3/8" finger joints in the 1" thick black walnut. I have clamped it up but cannot get it to square perfectly. The problem is I am using Bessy parallel clamps and after getting 4 clamps on the top and 4 clamps on the bottom I dont have any clamp that is long enough to reach over the top of all the clamps except a pipe clamp and that does not have long enough jaws to reach down so I can draw...

Hey all , I bought this years ago and never got around to installing it . I was kind of disappointed with the purchase ,as I heard they just upgraded it with AAA batteries instead of the first iteration that used those button batteries.
So was I ever surprised when I opened the box and realized it was the version that used two AAA batteries .
I’m having problems with repeatability, and I’m hoping this may help . I swear the best way to build cabinets would be to have two table saws ,one with...

I acquired a used Grex pin Nailer, P645L, recently and worked fine for a while.
Recently the gun Nailer stopped working. The ram would not retract back up to fire the next pin. Bought O-ring kit along with a new piston ram assembly. Re assembled and have the same problem.
Has anyone experience this before? Comments and or solutions are welcome!
Thanks

Hey all, I have an older Craftsman radial arm saw I purchased used last summer. I haven't done too much with it, but when I have used it I've noticed that the overarm has some play in it even when locked and tightened. I'd guess maybe 1/8"+ when the saw is fully extended, (maybe a little more than that, I haven't used it in a while). I'm going to assume that this is not the norm. Anyone know how to eliminate this?
Thanks,
