Hi,
I am a first year DO student and am doing quite well in my blocks so far.
I would like to get some tips and advice on preparing for Comlex 1 next year.
Specifically my questions are -
1. What is the best set of recommended prep courses/materials that will help with Comlex 1? I am seeing so many options like TrueLearn (Combank), Comquest, Uworld, Amboss etc. I am not sure which ones are most effective or should I get all of them?
2. The Comlex test site mentions Comsae can be...

The USMLE program will no longer implement dedicated score delay periods for the Step examinations. Most exam scores will continue to be reported within four weeks after an examinee completes their test. However, various factors may delay score reporting. When selecting your test date and inquiring about results, you should allow at least eight weeks to receive notification that your score report is available...

This post isin't meant for the high IQ's, but rather the average joes who grinded their way into A's and top test scores. I'd love to know how you did it and any advice you'd give to yourself/students about to start mcat/med school studying. Thanks ..read more

I'm an attending psychiatrist teaching a class to 1st and 2nd year medical students. 50 minutes. Topic is antipsychotics. I want to make it relevant to Step 1 board preparation, and wanted to basically run through board-style psychiatry questions (related specifically to antipsychotic medications). I've haven't been involved in this stage of medical education for a long time (I typically work with psychiatry residents), so I'm "out of the game," so to speak, particularly as is relates to...

Hey guys,
Hope everyone is well- was really hoping for some advice. I've been at UWorld for around 8months now- first pass. I'm still greatly struggling getting my blocks in timed. For each qn, I am taking around 2minutes.
I have no idea if I am overthinking each question or something- I take around 1minute to read the stem. Then, sometimes, I get the diagnosis immediately or sometimes I have to read the stem a few minutes to try to arrange the order in my head (while I am trying to think...

I know it's been asked a million times but I'll go ahead and give the 1,000,001 thread post here,
Step 1 prep idea in order of importance:
Uworld
Pathoma
B & B
Sketchy Pharm
Sketchy Micro
Anking (for these specific resources)
That being said, I just don't see enough time in the day to effectively do all the anking cards even though i've heard its a must. Any thoughts on this list? Any thoughts on anking and not being able to finish cards? I'm under the impression that uworld is non...

Hi All, my friend (attends the same Caribbean school as me) is currently in quite a tough situation and has asked me to post on her behalf here. She has completed her clinical years and the only thing that is preventing her from graduating is the NBME Comprehensive Clinical Science Examination. Like many Caribbean schools, our school uses this exam to determine our eligibility to sit for the USMLE Step 2. Unfortunately, my friend has taken the NBME CCSE a total of 6 times (yes you read that...
