No worries, you don't have to live in the 808 to get this offer.
This is a $92 discount off of my Craigslist posted in the "Shameless Self Promotion" forum. So, $900 minus $92 equals $808.
Yes, $808 gets you an excellent Kamaka HF-1, UPS shipping to the CONUS at cost and the convenience of PayPal goods and services.
In the interest of full disclosure, it's been brought to my attention that the bookmark joint on the top plate has separated. It doesn't show on the pictures but can be seen...

I have recently come into possession of an early model of Pops great Wow ukuleles. This is the Harmony. I won’t go into the history of the amazing journey that Alvin Okami has made since ‘retiring’ from KoAloha. But this model, The Harmony, was one of the first incarnations of what was to become his Wow creations. I am very honored to own it.
I recently posted a thread entitled The Sibumi of Timms, where I spoke about my love and admiration for my Timms soprano, which is one...

It's been raining for a few days, so just went through all my ukes that were "out in the open" listening for dead strings. These strings that were good (tension and tone) at one time... are not.
(Toby Keith sang, "I'm not as good as I once was. But I was good once, as I ever was.")
Now I'm suffering 7-10 days of new strings "getting to know me" in 100% humidity ..read more

I'm about ready to glue the back onto my new tenor and I was wondering if most builders capture the ends of their back braces into pockets in the linings or just stop them short. I can see where capturing the ends makes them less likely to come loose but it is a pain and I wonder is it really necessary ..read more

Hey guys, just joined this forum. I'm Peggie from Los Angeles, originally from Singapore. Nice to meet you all!
Started playing the ukulele in January this year and learning songs from YouTube videos. I started with a laminate tenor bought from Amazon, and just upgraded to a Enya Solid Spruce/Rosewood Tenor, which sounds and looks beautiful I'm going to giveaway my first ukulele to friends/family. Do you guys still have your very first ukulele?
Looking forward to reading and discussing...

Some of you may have read my story on my NUD for my new tenor Scepter Wow that details my history with the Scepter dating back to 2019 during a KoAloha factory tour. If you read that review you also know that I now have 3 Scepters, 2 of which are Koa with similar voices. So I'm putting my 2010"ish" concert Scepter back out into the ukulele world for someone else to enjoy!
I've had this uke several years, but it is really great condition without any issues. If you've been looking for a...

Hi,
I own a Hawaiian made concert ukulele (hug ukulele) that features mahagony front back and sides. I'm looking to upgrade the tone (it's great right now after fluorocarbon string upgrade)...The current nut and saddle are plastic. Would it be worth it to fit the uke with real bone for the nut and saddle ? Would it significantly or slightly change the tone? Where would one buy these? Thanks ..read more
