I’m wondering about how, if at all, schools with DoOO programs have customized cPanel and installatron? What applications did you remove from Installatron? What features did you remove from cPanel (e.g. email)? What was your reasoning? I’m curious because I got feedback from a student with a new Domains account that they were really overwhelmed when they first logged into cPanel, so I was thinking of tweaking it to not be so overwhelming. Hello everyone, One of our faculty will be on leave for a while but plans to come back (in maybe 2 years) and wants to continue building on her site when she returns. So I’m trying to figure out what to do with it while she is away. My simplest idea is to just transfer ownership for the time being, but the timing is so long that I’m wondering if there’s a better way to handle this situation. I have my students creating domains this semester, on which they’ll be doing coursework through Wordpress. However, I have 1 student who is still waiting for financial aid refund, and doesn’t have the $45 for the registration fee. Is it possible to have this student create a free site through Wordpress.com to work on in the interim, and then migrate it over once they purchase the domain through Reclaim? Currently our tech dept uses the root account to login to WHM and access our faculty/student’s cpanel accounts. Our Curricular Tech dept is interested in having access to WHM so they can have the ability to jump directly into faculty/student cpanels and assist them with troubleshooting.
