Rise Jewelry was born out of my love for scuba and free diving here on the beautiful island of Oahu. On my dives, I come across the most exquisite ocean finds such as sea glass, sunrise shells, shark teeth, and more! I transform my absolute favorite finds into unique fine jewelry pieces for my customers, using precious metals such as 24k-gold and sterling silver.

Sorry it's been so long since I've been on here. My husband Nathan and I actually welcomed our first child, Natalie Ayumi on October 6th at 1:38am. This little opihi weighed in at 6 lbs 4 oz and has changed our lives so much for the better since her arrival.
Even though she's everything to me at this point, I'll be very honest with you all - the first few months were tough for me personally. Being a first time mom, I had expectations of what motherhood would be like from the beginning- Seeing photos of fellow moms happily with their newborns, hearing people tell me throughout my ..read more

For anyone that knows me or has been following this company since the beginning, it's no secret that the Hawaiian opihi shell is one of my favorites to find and create jewelry with. Let's get to know this adorable shell a little better shall we?
Opihi shells are a type of limpet. They come from a species of sea snail. Limpets are marine gastropods that have a conical shell and the Hawaiian ones typically have a 'spider-like' appearance.
Hawaiian opihis are endemic to Hawaii, and are found exclusively within the Hawaiian Islands. They are a highly prized Hawaiian cuisine and many consider ..read more

Hi Friends! Sorry it’s been so long since I’ve been on here. Let me tell you, it has been quite the year!! My husband and I finally celebrated our marriage in April, we did a ton of markets last year in 2022, I landed a new job that requires me to be in CA 3x’s a week (yes, you read that correctly… a LOT of flying back and forth), and we visited my grandma in Japan for the first time in years post-Covid.
Diving in the ocean and jewelry making has been such a healing outlet for me on the weekends. I truly look forward to it now more than ever with how busy work and life has been lately. A ritu ..read more

There’s a question that I get quite a lot in my interactions with customers, friends and family. That question is “what is your favorite shell?” And let me tell you, that question is NOT easy to answer. Depending on what I’m using the shell for, I have different favorites. However, I think this is how a parent might feel with their children (Yes, I’m about to compare myself to a real mother with real children… I understand I am not a mom, and I am about to compare my love for shells with a mom’s love for her children.. call me crazy, but hear me out). I honestly feel like each seashell I find ..read more

Happy New Year everyone! I don’t know about you all, but 2022 does not roll off the tongue easily. Part of me feels like the last two years since the start of the pandemic has gone by so quickly, yet so slowly all at once, it feels like a blur. A lot has happened in just the last year. Nathan and I moved into a new place in Kapolei, (although we do miss Makaha living.. a lot!) One of the first projects I enlisted the help of Nathan and my future father in law was to help me with my home office. I needed a place to make jewelry, fulfill orders, work quietly during the day, and take work meeting ..read more

Hi friends- It's me! And I'm sharing my very first blog post.. I’m a little weary about it, but hey, let's see how it goes! Some of you are new followers, and some have been followers for years now, so I thought it would be nice to introduce or re-introduce myself to you all!
First of all, thank you for your support, in all the ways. Seriously.. it means the world to me. Whether it be purchasing a piece of my jewelry, showing love at one of our markets, or simply sending a message on social media or email, I’ve appreciated all of it. You are the reason I love do ..read more
