Hi, glad you found the forum, it is very comforting to know you are not alone. I have less energy and motivation to deal with my 29 year old son with SZ as I age. After all, it has been over a decade and he never gets any better. He is currently not taking his meds since April 2024 and getting more and more difficult to deal with. Had another win this week, so I wanted to share =) The other day, my husband was in the living room with my two sons. He was attempting to turn on the tv to find something to watch with them (that’s a win in itself, as my son with schizophrenia was not watching tv at all for a long time) and as he was attempting to turn on the tv with the remote, the tv would blink but then turn off. He tried this a few times before realizing that my son had a second remote, and was using it to turn off the tv every time my husband turned it on.
