Girl Scouts Carolinas Peaks to Piedmont is pleased to announce that Carly Roberts, Denver, has earned her Girl Scout Gold Award, the highest achievement a Girl Scout can earn. Roberts, a member of Girl Scout Troop 2307, developed a STEM-based curriculum targeting 4th-8th grade students that was offered during summer camp at the Lincoln County, NC Sally’s YMCA. Smith, a member of Girl Scout Troop 2147, renovated and remodeled a preexisting courtyard at the Davie County Courthouse so that it could be used as a place for photos for special events and weddings that happen there.
