Hi :) I've had Skyy for about a year now and I've definitely fallen in love with her as my first (working) car. But I have a few things lined up for her. I've decided to get a Hellcat air box but I'm new to modding/working on cars and was wondering if getting a Cold Air Intake would work with the air box as well. I know I'd only get a few extra horses at most, so my main goal is the visual and sound of the CAI on top of the increased efficiency of the air box. Finally managed to afford swapping out the fake bland factory diffuser and tips and i feel happy with it so far, i feel the tips couldve been a little bigger to fit the gap better but as of now, its not so bad. So got into a fender bender last June in my 13 Daytona and just checked my carfax and saw the absolutely incompetent officer on the scene said my airbags deployed and now my car is worth “3k”. Has anyone ever gone through the process of getting it corrected seeing as I think I’d remember my airbag going off in my damn face? Got a 2013 R/T with a Borla S catback, black hex intake, and shorty headers. Debating on trading my shorty headers for long tubes, but I’ve been reading that it can be a pain in the ass to fit them under the engine and all. Just want some input, as I feel like buying new long headers and taking it to a shop would be easier, but I wouldn’t be opposed to learning how to do it myself.
