I recently purchased a 2018 Daytona 392, and I'm enjoying it. However, I noticed a hissing sound when I accelerate, but only at low RPM. Additionally, the car vibrates while idle, but it isn't easy to notice. Upon inspection, I noticed that the serpentine belt says 5.7 instead of 6.4, which is a bit curious. My 2020 Charger Rt started misfiring and rough idling. I noticed the injector on Cylinder 3 was stuck open so I replaced it, the car was still running the same so I swapped out the spark plugs and coil packs and still had the same problem. My buddy who’s a mechanic looked at it and said Cylinder 3 had low compression and had oil in the cylinder. He thinks the lifters flattened the cam. He suggest to buy a new motor. Hello all! I’m new to the forum and these cars. I just bought my first 2014 Charger R/T AWD with 78,000 miles on it yesterday. I did a transmission fluid/filter change the day I bought it, fluid was still red and full. Rear end fluid was clean as well. Now, I test drove the weekend prior and it had rained, so the awd was engaged and I never heard this noise.
