Are you in shape for an internship? Here is a workout that you don't want to miss. If you are looking for an internship now or later, this post is for you. Here is a collection of advice from experts and yours truly.
Always be ready-set-go
As soon as you can, keep a digital copy of your portfolio on hand at all times. I keep one on my phone, which I can send via Bluetooth or email right away. This holds true for job interviews as well. Back in the day, I emailed my portfolio in the morning and received two responses by evening. The next day, I had two interviews, one of which I failed and th ..read more

Architects' job is one of the most hard-working professions. The restless evenings' prior performance targets, as well as the exhausting struggles to stay up throughout complicated workplace meetings, can leave architects exhausted. If you are looking for real gifts for your known architect, here is what they need.
First of all
Don't get them anything that is designed, sometimes your "aesthetics" won't match, and they will never use it and will probably feel bad about it.
A spa day
A time to relax and unwind for the brave hero.
Netflix and chill with them
Whatever this means.

Mental health has a huge impact on your design. Either it will help you or destroy you. It will help you if you have a positive mindset and willingness to take the risk. It will destroy you if you let negativity eat you. So, here are the best ways to deal with your mental exhaustion.
Create a visual diet
Clean what you consume audio visually. Avoid content that triggers negative emotions, like frustration, irritation, guilt, unhealthy habits, or jealousy. Unfollow or mute toxic people, friends, or family. You don't need that.
Zoom out
Take time off and look at the bigger picture. Suddenly ..read more

In designing a gallery space it must be with no columns. A clue is to make a smart facade. Check out "The Broad"
The Broad is a new contemporary art museum located in Los Angeles, CA. The museum's design was created by Diller Scofidio + Renfro in collaboration with Gensler.
We'll look at the three main elements that make up the facade, spaces, and structure: the veil, the vault, and the space in between:
The veil: GFRC Panels make up most of the External skeleton-like structure.
The vault is the inner, poured-concrete box.
The glass areas comprise tall and slender glass panels.

Have you watched the movie called Squid Game? Is that your favorite movie? If you have already watched it, you probably saw the film set up. The design of the settings drew me into this drama. It was far too bright and cheery for the gory scenes. In this post, we will look at the color they use in the movie scenes.
The Game
This is where they sleep and explain the instructions. The game has 3 sets of tones. The color of the players' suits, the masked man suits, and the surroundings

Sustaining an income and finding new projects.
Often, in a highly competitive field, like architecture. We will encounter practicing architects that earn far less than what they deserved, given the job they do and the obligations they perform. Just like every other position in a construction project, the architect could still face various challenges. One of them is how to win new clients and keep their firm financially stable.
2. Explaining good design over cheap construction.
Good design doesn't always equate to expensive costs, and we sometimes forgot about the other factors that m ..read more

Beijing: City versus infrastructure.
My final year university dissertation was titled Beijing: City versus Infrastructure. This project investigates how a new type of "Fobidden City" can be challenged through design repurposing leftover spaces.
Because I was doing an internship in Beijing at the time, I chose a project location in my new city. My roommates and I biked around the entire site looking for something interesting. Along the highway, we discovered a lot of junk spaces. Th ..read more

Everyone's got a camera, and everybody knows how to point and click. Photography is more than just merely taking a photo. It aims to uncover the relationship between light and physical structure or an architectural project to communicate a purpose and belongingness effectively.
The influence of photography on the design profession cannot be underestimated, particularly to architects. The opportunity to share their project effectively drives more comprehensive growth and attracts new clients to the firm. Without photography, it would also be challenging to express the richness of an architects ..read more
