Bit tricky, not enough room for two drawers either side but a pipe cutout might work with one big drawer. I did a few in my kitchen. Statistics: Posted by Pulse — Wed Apr 24, 2024 8:11 pm ..read more

Also, if you get the builder to install/supply, they have the option to take the Gov. STCs. Can add up to a couple of thousand in their pocket.. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Statistics: Posted by EvryThingIsNormal — Wed Apr 24, 2024 4:22 pm ..read more

Hi All Hoping someone can help me with this worry. I'm in the process of an new build, and unable to remove any of the trees in my neighbors lot (due to heritage listing). Right on the fence line, biggest & worst tree is an Liquidambar styraciflua (Sweet Gum) over 20M tall. Due to this, I even had to import fill for the build. since unable to cut in the TPZ/RPZ. My question is whats the best type of slab or any precautions required for the slab, in the event of that tree dying/removed. Will the roots cause and damages thought out the slabs lifespan? TIA. eguan88 lilijana eguan88 Did anyone end up upgrading with Beautiful Tiles (The tile supplier for Allcastle in Sydney)? The salesperson in Beautiful Tiles told me the Allcastle builder's range tiles included were very basic & non-glossy, nothing look like the one shown in the display home, I ended up paying an extra $$$$ just for the glossy tiles. Hi I would like to get in touch with you. I’m a first time builder we just signed mid range contract and identified a lot of things are not included in our internal appointment. We had one choice of toilet, shower, door, kitchen sink a ..read more

General Discussion • Screed Orientation

Hi Everyone, Looking for opinions on how to orient the fall planes in the balcony screed before tiling. I have uploaded a photo with 3 options. I am wondering if number 3 is viable as I would like to avoid diagonal relief cuts and also don't want to tile diagonally. The tiles are 300x300. The only downside with 3 I can think of is that the fall plane will change direction in the middle of the outside edges (will this be noticeable) .
