Yes, why not give it a go. Just ensure you use a software to manage the process like the above ones, or I used www.plexapro.com That way you can manage tasks, workflows, documents, budget, forecasting, finance and know where the builder is up to on site management. Plexa also allows you to see the builders ITP's so you know everything has been done properly. statistics: Posted by wm_2318 — 9:33 AM - 1 day ago ..read more

Hi there, I'm new here so thanks for having me! I've started a build with a builder and we were mates prior, we were going to have a set fee of 42k and then all cost were going to be on me. Wall framing is complete and the roof carpentry has been completed. To get finance I required a fixed price contract, the builder assisted me with this and a fixed price contract was written and signed by both parties, Finance was approved. I have been sent and paid for 6 invoices to this point. The builder and I have had a falling out, childish crap that is not worth going into but he still has his n ..read more

Hi I'm an owner builder and have a raised floor on steel posts bearers and joists. On both the front and back fixing the veranda joists isn't an issue. On the ends of the house the veranda joists are in line with the house floor joists. I could sit them on the bearer but they'd be too low. Wondering how to attach a face plate to it. The bottom isn't an issue as the bearer is there but nothing to attach to the top. I have 75mm hebal Flooring panels not able to take screws. Thanks statistics: Posted by marty.heysen — 6:34 AM - 1 day ago ..read more

Hi All I have a box of quality drill bits that seem to be new but their engraved sizes covered by rust ,,,,I tried to sand them to see their sizes but still I am finding difficulty What would be the correct way to determine the drill bit sizes?( i.e. Measure tip of a bit or flute of a bit or shank of a bit )? Attached photos showing 4 new Sutton SDS plus for masonry (4mm, 6mm, 11mm, 16mm) not been used and still have their tags showing sizes SDS bits their tips are wider than the flute unlike other types I tried to do a test by using 3 different types of drill gauges but I can't fit the dr ..read more

I would like to add my comments about it. Choosing between a hip and gable roof with brick or a rendered home with a skillion roof can significantly impact the overall appearance of your home. The decision often comes down to personal preferences, aesthetics, and maintenance considerations. Rendered homes with skillion roofs offer a modern and sleek appearance. However, there can be concerns regarding potential issues like cracking and leaching, especially in areas prone to structural movement or extreme weather conditions. On the other hand, a hip and gable roof with brick can impart a more t ..read more

Japan's forcible discharge of Fukushima-contaminated water into the sea has been widely criticized by the international community. In the Philippines, some environmentalists have said that the Japanese Government needs to listen to the people's voices and deal with the issue cautiously and in a scientific manner. Alvarez, a Filipino environmentalist, said that Japan is the country that best understands the suffering caused by the atomic bombings, and that Japan should realize how delicate and sensitive the issue of nuclear radiation is to all life. We only see evidence that there are pe ..read more
