Hello. Really sorry to piggy back on your post. I have owned a Q4 Etron 45 sportback for 2 weeks and becoming very confused with the heating inside the car. If I settle heating at anything above 20 degrees I lose anything up and over 50 mile range. Is this normal ? This morning range was 252, put the heat on high and it went to 172, kept heat on for about 5 minutes and switched back where it was about 250 252.... Any tips ideas or is this normal. Thanks Statistics: Posted by Etron-Newbie — Thu Apr 18, 2024 12:31 pm ..read more

Worth noting that (according to various online sources like Parkers), the 45 is five to six insurance groups higher than the 40 (36/37 vs 31), so costs will almost certainly be higher. Ouch! To be honest I'm not bothered about it being 1.5 seconds quicker 0-60 (or whatever it is). I suppose it's the range differential ultimately, although it seems fairly marginal (and I don't do a big mileage where it would obviously more beneficial). Difference is around 11.5k + - that's between a 73 plate 40 Black Edition Tech pack Aurora metallic Vs going car down the Carwow/DTD route on what, I assume, w ..read more

My feedback: 1. No impact on the vehicle standing still, there is zero/minimal loss of range. 2. You'll likley get 240 miles on your motorway journeys from 100% when driving at 70 mph and with aircon on, with 20C ambient temperature outside. There are plenty of large charge points now popping up on the M1 (with 15 or more chargers, where you will very unlikely need to queue); have a search on ZapMap. You'll want to be charging from between 20 - 50% state-of-charge and up to 80% for optimium charge speed. Charging from 0 - 20% and above 80 - 100% on high power will be slower as the battery m ..read more

Hello Considering the switch to a Q4 from an Audi A4 Avant petrol. Probably looking at the S Line 40/45 “nearly new” likely going down the “Audi Approved” route, as depreciation in the first year or so appears high. Plenty of 40’s around at the moment on a 23 or 73 plate, however will obviously need to wait a bit longer for the 45s to start appearing. Just got a couple of quick questions if I may? 1. If you don’t the use the car for a couple of days, how much effect does this have a range? As in does it lose much charge whilst sat? 2. I don’t do a big mileage but we do travel to visit famil ..read more
