You need to listen to this episode. It’s how outdated the Swedish judiciary system can be sometimes. I am glad that this issue has raised a lot of dust and that changes are being made to address this. I applaud Sweden for how things can change immediately when people speak against something; in this case, a court case. Sweden stands for children’s rights in all situations. Sweden is not a secular country neither are Swedes religious people. Sweden used to be a religious country and still celebrates some Christian traditions like Christmas, Easter, Ascension day, The day of the dead and numerous Catholic Christian traditions etc. Irrespective of the religious history in Sweden, Swedes are mostly atheists. Religion and faith is no longer very important as it used to be in Sweden. In this episode, I shared how living in a society like Sweden has changed my perspective, thoughts and practices towards religion, faith and God. Please follow and rate my podcast on Spot ..read more

For Better or For Worse: Has Sweden Changed You the Way it Changed All of Us Here?

Integration has a role to play here. Some of us have found ourselves being more Swedish than the Swedes or less than we used to be. We now adhere to unwritten rules, adapting and adjusting to the values of our new culture and society as we try to ‘fit in’. I don’t want to lose myself or my identity as a person, as a Nigerian woman, and African woman. Sadly, or happily I am changing and so are many of us living in Sweden. I have heard quite a lot about AI and what it can do in the life of a creative. Today, I asked AI Tome to create a presentation for this episode. This is the result of the curious exercise. I loved how quickly it gave a detailed presentation of my topic. It included interesting pictures in the presentation, and even though I like how effective this exercise went, I didn't find it interactive and engaging enough. But I love it anyways.
