I have always wanted to learn Tai Chi, but it is not easy to find classes. A couple of months ago, I decided to reset my appetite and lose a few pounds in the process. I usually only eat two meals a day but also snack during the night when I can't sleep. I always get tired or lethargic after eating midday. So I decided to reduce the sweets and cut back to just dinner. I worked hard at keeping busy and drinking lots of water. I just could not get back into the yoga thing that I started this spring, and yet I NEED to exercise if I am going to be able to work outside next year. I am going to move a spare dresser downstairs-and wont THAT be a chore- so that I can set up the treadmill where it was. Also paint. And the bookshelf should also be moved and I do not believe that we need to keep my son's Harry Potter books and old assignment papers. All of my small projects seem to become large ones, LOL! RIP nephew, age 43. He had a heart attack. I think that I am going to try cutting my carb intake in half. I cannot cut them out entirely as my blood sugar goes too low as well as too high, but I can reduce them. And so, this morning I had an avocado with my diabetes meds instead of crackers. I lost 70 pounds mainly just eating when I was hungry. Started eating more and going to the Gym. I do Cardio 3 days and Weights 2 days. Still losing weight but actually I'm feeling good. I can only work out 30 minutes a day because I have to find a ride. I say Weights but mostly machines. Weights I can do with one Arm.
