Author: Reiver Subject: INPA / ISTA+ Posted: 17 Apr 2024 at 10:18pm I have INPA & ISTA+ which work fine on my 2008 E93. However, I can't get either to work on my friends 2007 E83 X3. Neither application will recognize the X3. Even manually entering the chassis number doesn't work. Do I need some specific data files for the E83 ? We have fitted a passenger seat occupancy bypass but still have the airbag light on. Any suggestions ..read more

Author: Norrie Subject: new engine specs Posted: 16 Apr 2024 at 3:43pm If you had BMW Assured warranty the dealer will claim their costs against that insurer. They have to supply full parts and engine number details and they can give you a print out of it with redacted costs if you ask. I got this for my car from a main dealer when I had a supercharger replaced ..read more

Author: rpennington Subject: BMW oil & filter Posted: 10 Apr 2024 at 9:18am Hi I have an f30 335d that requires an oil service, my local bmw dealer wants about £270 + depends on what the key says after being read although the Idrive says oil service. What make of oil & filter does bmw dealers use as i don’t want to be paying £22.62 for filter & £21.50 a litre for oil. I know that the oil is LL04 0W30 & that i need 7 litres. Any recommendations on where to buy these from. Thanks for your help & replies. Rich  Edited by rpennington - Yesterday at 9:28am ..read more

Author: Emmanuel Subject: E24 M635csi S38 mileometer Posted: 07 Apr 2024 at 7:11pm Greetings everyone hope you and yours are well and your rides are rolling.  My mileometer has stopped working and I gather I need new gears. I've sourced 2 manufacturers of the gears but they both require the 3rd gear tooth count. Has anyone on here done a mileometer and thus know the tooth count please? I've asked many experts without success; naturally I know they can be counted manually, but it would be great if someone could save me the trouble. E24s forever.  Emmanuel  ..read more
