Came home on Sunday after a weekend away, during which we left Mrs Eds X1 on the driveway at home. Monday morning it would not start - flat battery. I fully charged it on my CTEK a month ago so something amiss. Until the weekend it had been in daily use Put it on the CTEK yesterday for 6 hours and was able to start it and drive it for 90 mins. After successfully changing the front discs and pads on my 640d I decided to tackle the rear. Brembo discs, pads and sensor bought from Autodoc and tried to fit this last weekend. Unfortunately the electronic hand brake mechanism proved to be a struggle. There is a manual retraction process shown on various YouTube videos. Sadly most of these cars seem to have lived in warm dry California where the Torx head bolts were easily removed. Despite my car having only covered 40K miles in 6 years... Does anyone know what type of bulb I need to replace the angel eye bulb on a pre LCI E61. Drivers side has gone and given the faff getting the holder and then the bulb out, I would like to have the replacement ready to put in! We've been on a short but needed trip away over the past five days. This has been planned for a while now, but we weren't overly sure we would be able to make it given recent family issues.
