My 2019 x-class vehicle was recently recalled for the replacement of the radial shaft sealing rings in the rear axle. SRV 2304 This was duly booked in with the local Sandown Mercedes dealership in Poole Dorset UK back in early August. It is now 8 weeks since the dealership have had my vehicle and have informed me that the delay is with parts and apparently a special tool they are waiting on before they can complete this repair. Hi all, I recently bought my X250d which I’m really pleased with overall. I had a remap done by a local company DMS at a cost of £595, I am a bit underwhelmed by the results. They improved the gear selection, performance and fuel economy. I had hoped for more power especially torque and acceleration. I've been thinking about getting a highway cruiser. I prioritize a V8, pillowy ride, and quiet running at 70 mph. However, I don't need tons of features. I've been looking at a few 2014 E550 (I've heard the 2010-2013s weren't as well built). However, the 2012-2015 S-Class has an incredible reputation. I plan to test drive both eventually, but I am curious how folks think about the relative highway comfort of the E Class vs. the S Class? Is the comfort and quiet really that big of a step up... I have a 67 plate 250D and its now on 171K it has developed a intermitant problem. at random it has started cutting out and will take up to half an hour to restart. the main dealer cant find a fault and keeps saying nothing is wrong. very fustrating. has any one on here had the same problem? if so what was it? please help and thanks in advance Paul ..read more

Hello everyone. I have a x250d , some time ago the front RH light was broken and caught some water in it. That blow up some fuses (two I recall). Now I replaced the headlight but the running light won’t work. It only lights the left one, the strange issue is that when I put the low light , the running light turns on. I checked almost every fuse in the engine bay fuse box and they all appear to be fine. Any toughts on this ..read more
