Hello everyone, I bought a mandolin 10 years ago on ebay. the seller told me he did not think it is a gibson even though it has The Gibson on the head stack and the tale piece. To me the mandolin looks lick a Aira pro two mandolin. It has a name in it (John Braden) from Ky. The seller told me that it is a 1970 and it has the numbers 781958 on the back of the head stock. Hello all,  I've got a 1972 Les Paul Recording that my uncle had bought secondhand from a friend in the late 70's, and he had given it to me before he had passed last year. I've been into general guitar electronics wiring for some time now, so I was interested in what was under the hood of this oddball model. Once I looked over it, I noticed the little yellow box with 4 colored wires coming out of it was damaged, and the wires were cut incredibly short. I have a banjo that was owned by my father in law. I don’t much about it except it was supposedly purchased from Earl Scruggs.  This is what her mother swears.  Whether or not this is true is anyone,s guess.  It is a great sounding banjo and I much enjoy playing it.  The list I’ve seen has this banjo possibly from the 50”s. Hi everyone, I recently came into possession of an old Console Gibson Grande that belonged to my wife's grandfather. Unfortunately, it was stored in an old shed on the ground and has termite damage. I believe it can be restored if a lot of work is put into it, but I'm not sure where to start. I'm hoping someone here can give me some advice on what steps I should take to restore this guitar. Hello all! I recently started dating a Gibson mandolin but I'm afraid she's seeing other people. What should I do?   Just kidding, I have a friend who recently offered to sell me his Gibson mandolin.
