Hey everyone, I could use a bit of advice here. I've been putting together an acoustic set for solo performances. (btw, a belated thanks for all the song suggestions you all have made in past threads, you folks have helped almost double the size of my song list in my first 3 days here).The plan is to do coffee houses and bars, that kind of thing. I invested in a Stranberg Boden 6 guitar last year after being intrigued by the description.  I love the tone but the high-tech faceted neck was too fat and felt too weird for my hands.  So I took it in to my luthier to have him sand down the neck and largely get rid of the facets and its native "2 by 4" of a neck feel.  A very significant amount of wood was removed by the sanding.  Now I can play it much better with the much skinnier neck that is just like a traditional skinny rock guitar neck.  Has anyone out there ever heard of someone doing this to their Stranberg ..read more

Recently went online shopping and discovered that the tubes I was looking for are now out of stock at some places or way more expensive from other sellers. I looked into it and found an article from Guitar World confirming that there is a shortage now.
