Hi All, I have the black screen problem on BOTH of my R2s. I followed the black screen troubleshooting post and got nowhere. What I see now on the screen is a prompt for login info (see file). I tried writing to robo a week ago with no communication back. I'm assuming I need new SD cards? I had done this before with no real documentation of it, so when I decided to do this second one I figured I would write it up. Will be doing this over the next few days and writing it up with pictures. Essentially I will be removing the old drawer rails/wodden/plastic and glass bed from the beta and replacing it with linear rails and an R1/R1+ style bed. Hi everyone, First post I figured I'd try to learn a few things here. My printer had been printing fine right out of the box for two weeks, and now I can't seem to get a print down. The initial dots do print (I'm using a robo 3d1), but when it comes to make the outer layer it does not come down. I think I may not be getting the pla filament in place but I'm not sure. Heyo! I've had this printer since around when covid hit, but haven't started using it avidly until now. I've gotten it well calibrated and it runs amazingly, but there are a few drawbacks for me. One of those downsides is not having an lcd controller. I know that there were a number of LCD mods such as the full display or XXL LCD mod, but I've been unable to find find the required mods anywhere. To PID tune your printer : The M304 command is for setting Bed PID values and not actually an offset, you would use it like this. Execute a command to autotune Bed PID: M303 E-1 C8 S60 - this will set bed temp at 60°C for 8 cycles, the result will be expressed as kP, kI and kD values. I have two identically configured printers sitting side by side. They have been printing 24/7 for years. One of the printers had a slight chatter for lack of a better word on the prints. Still shippable but not quite as good as the other printer. The chatter printer all of a sudden seized in the Z stepper, it took out the stepper driver and the system board.
