It would be very useful if we have a print simulation mode for troubleshooting. Imagine that we can give a command to the printer to start simulating a print without printing something. The benefits of this would be that we don't need to have a filament inside the printer or losing precious time by loading the filament, waiting for the hottend and the printbed to heat when printing and wasting filaments. Yesterday when I came home from work I discovered that the silicone heatblock cover was not anymore on the hottend and the print was a failure due to warping. I guess there was some collision due to the sticking part and printing head. Now I have the next problem with my Pro 2 plus printer. It knocks when printing or moving the head, also there is no way to freely move the printhead when the printer is off or when the motors are disabled. I have a new feature request. The setting/feature called Coasting can be very useful. Particularly with Active Foaming Filaments. Also useful with filament having a low viscosity or higher printing temperature where there may be a greater tendency for stringing, oozing or blobbing. As implemented coasting (in all slicers I have used) has limited effectiveness. Coasting effectiveness could be increased greatly by adding extra control to that feature. thats because Ideamaker is like "status quo of 2018" with the features it supports. And no, the path calculation is not the best by Ideamaker. Perhaps in your case it works flawless, good for you. But meanwhile the other Slicers has far more superior features AND path calculation. You don't think so? Well then just go for actual Prusa/Orca/Cura Slicer Versions and make some previews of part which have complicated paths winding. Is there anywhere I buy or find the nozzle lifting system and the hot plate power supply for a Raise3D Pro2 Duo machine that's the same as what it came with? I had a failure and it ended up creating a pretty nasty ball of ASA that I had to cut and break off. When I went to start it again the lifting system won't retract the left nozzle or drop the right nozzle. My second machine ended up getting some cleaning solution splashed on the hot plate power supply and since then it's never acted right.
