Heya folks, I’ve got 7 UPBOX+'s (the ones with the old V4 head inside), they’ve been happily running off PC desktop using windows 10.., I’ve been asked to refit to a pair of iMac desktops… So far I’ve managed to get my 2 test box’s printing the same file from a single iMac, however when I try to load different files on to the 2 box’s they overwrite so the same file is shown on both printers… The plan was to use a single iMac to run different jobs on up to 4 box’s at once, is that posssible? I bought an UP Mini 2, pre used and the guy shipped it to me without securing the innards’. The platform moved about during shipping and broke the plastic holders for the two vertical rods that the platform moves up and down on. I rebuilt them and reinserted the rods and platform. However the up/down does not work, I am sure I have not connected the drive belt properly. I can’t find any breakdown drawings that would show me how this belt connects. Even though the heater temperature has dropped during printing, it is still measuring a high temperature, so the heater does not operate and cools down, causing the nozzle to become clogged and printing to fail. Also, even though the heater temperature is normal, it may detect a high temperature and issue a “nozzle temperature too hot” error. The timing varies, and if you’re lucky, you may be able to print without any problems. However, there seems to be a problem with the control and correction of the temperature sensor. Hi, haven’t been here in a while not sure if anyone still cares about the old Cetus printers. Getting back into 3d printing for some projects and have no money to ‘upgrade’ but have several old Cetus 1st gen printers that served me well in the past (2018-2020-ish). I’m printing with rafts. Blah blah blah. Yes, yes, I know! Real men don’t use rafts. Rafts are for small children. Just level the bed and learn to not use raft.
